“Nordy” was Band Director at Viroqua High School for 31 years and of the Viroqua City Band who inspired an at-risk student into instrumental music and Music4Life™.
Music4Life™ provides donated and repaired musical instruments at no charge to public school districts for use by students in need.
We do this because research shows that children who participate in instrumental music activities do better in numerous academic areas and because we believe that instrumental music can and does save lives. It is a gift that we feel passionately about passing on to future generations.
We believe that every child should have the opportunity to enhance their education through music. Music education affords myriad benefits throughout life, and we aspire to provide opportunities for all children to reap those benefits.
